Meet the CAWG Staff

Natalie Collins, President
Natalie oversees the general operation of CAWG and manages its four-person team. She is responsible for CAWG’s Board of Directors, federal legislation, pests and disease programs, sustainability, and trade policy. She also is responsible for ensuring that value is delivered to members through education, timely information updates and new benefit programs. Natalie is a graduate of California State University, Chico with a Bachelor of Science in agricultural business and a double minor in organizational communications and business administration. Natalie joined CAWG in 2015 as the director of member relations and was appointed as president in December of 2022.  Prior to joining CAWG, Natalie worked for the San Joaquin Farm Bureau Federation as a program director.

Michael Miiller, Director of Government Relations
Michael monitors a wide range of state public policy issues and represents CAWG before the California Legislature and key regulatory agencies. He also helps keep our members informed of pending legislation and regulations that have a direct effect on their businesses. Michael has more than 35 years of public policy experience and has served in key staff positions in the Senate, Assembly and Wilson and Davis Administrations. Prior to joining CAWG in January 2017, Michael was chief of staff and communications director for Assemblyman Marc Levine.

Mindy DeRohan, Communications Manager
Mindy is responsible for helping CAWG meet its strategic goals and objectives by managing ongoing communications activities. Mindy manages all phases of regular communications for members (eNews, eAlerts, monthly Crush newsletter) to provide timely and informative updates and analyses of important industry issues and developments, and public policy issues. Mindy is a graduate of Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo with a Bachelor of Science in agricultural science, and a Master of Science in agricultural business. Prior to joining CAWG, Mindy was the program manager for the California Foundation for Agriculture in the Classroom and manager of the CAPCA ED continuing education program for the California Association of Pest Control Advisors.

Jenny Devine, Events Coordinator

Jenny is responsible for planning and executing events within CAWG, including the Unified Wine & Grape Symposium.

Carolee Williams, Business Manager

Carolee is responsible for a broad variety of business tasks including financial management, reporting, budgeting and special projects. She also administers the California Association of Winegrape Growers Foundation scholarship program.
