Briefly describe the business’s philosophy and activities:

Vintage Crop Insurance is a family oriented business focused on building strong, long lasting relationships with winegrape growers. Our philosophy is to provide expert service and support to our customers while supporting the interest of CAWG and local winegrape grower associations.

How does the business benefit winegrape growers?

Our business provides an avenue for winegrape growers to protect their income in the event they suffer damage to their winegrapes. Our staff has over 40 years of combined experience in protecting winegrape growers and for the past 15 years has enjoyed protecting CAWG members.

How do you see the business changing over the next 5 years to meet the needs of winegrape growers?

The crop insurance program for winegrapes will continue to improve by adapting to the needs of winegrape growers. The past few years have seen the introduction of frost/freeze protection, an increase in the coverage levels, and a reduction in rates for winegrape growers. The next 5 years will see additional improvements that will ultimately benefit winegrape growers.

What is your favorite wine?

I am a fan of all types of wine but I tend to gravitate to a nicely aged cabernet.
